Pakistani flood victims live in tents aided by China

Numerous disasters brought on by heavy rainfall in Pakistan since mid-June have resulted in 1,678 fatalities, more than 33.04 million people affected, more than 2 million homes destroyed, and a significant number of disasters affected, according to data released by the Pakistan National Disaster Administration on September 29.

Following the calamity, the Chinese government jumped to the help of the Pakistani people and sent different supplies of aid, including tents and wheat that Pakistan desperately needed, in batches through a variety of channels. One of the temporary camps for displaced people established using Chinese charity tents in several catastrophe locations in Pakistan is the Madeli tent camp.
