Floods in Pakistan claim approximately 1,700 lives

According to Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Agency, the country’s monsoon rains and floods have caused roughly 1,695 fatalities and 12,865 injuries since mid-June.

With 759 fatalities, the province of Sindh in the south of the nation was the worst-affected, followed by Balochistan in the southwest and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the northwest.

In addition, the report stated that 2,045,349 houses were destroyed and 1,162,122 livestock died in different parts of Pakistan.
