World needs to learn from President Xi Jinping

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif lauding the role and struggle of Chinese President Xi Jinping for China said that the world needs to learn from President Xi Jinoing.

Speaking with the Pakistan-China Business Forum in Shenzen here on Wednesday, Prime Minister ShahbazSharif said that steering 700 million Chinese from extreme poverty has one of the greatest achievements of President XiJinping.

With the untiring efforts under President Xi Jinping, China has become the major economic and military power of the world in a very short span of time, said Shahbaz Sharif.

China’s visit is very significant for the progress and development in Pakistan, said Shahbaz adding that in the decade of 50s and 60s, economic indicators of Pakistan and China were similar but today, situation is altogether differbet and Pakistan has left behind but we are committed to learn from the Chinese experiences and economic models to take Pakistan on the path of progress and development.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan speaking with China-Pakistan Business Forum also noted that Pakistani companies needs to learn from Chinese companies, and take advantage of the business and investment opportunities in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister also disclosed that back in 2017, he got the opportunity of Chairman Exim Bank of China and he awarded him the titke of Punjab Speed.

The Prime Minister expressing heart felt grief on the death of five Chinese in Pakistan in a terrorism incident said that Pakistan is committed to take foolproof security arrangements for Chinese engineers working on different projects in Pakistan.

He said that Special investment facilitation council is working hard to boost business environment in Pakistan adding that the government is coming hard to annul the corruption.

The Prime Minister said that there are vast opportunities in Pakistan for Chinese investors to invest in the areas of agriculture, mining and information technology and Chinese business companies should take advantage of these opportunities.
