PM arrives in Shenzen on five days official visit

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in China on Tuesday evening and landed in Shenzhen. Shenzen is noted being economic powerhouse of China. Shenzhen is the first stop during the prime minister’s official visit to China.

Shenzhen Vice Mayor Luo Huanghao welcomed Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at airport. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and other senior cabinet ministers are accompanying the premier in his first official visit after assuming the office of Prime Minister of Pakistan.

China Media Group highlighting the engagements of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Prime Minister during his two-day stay in Shenzen would meet with the leadership of Guandong Province and the Shenzen Municipal Government and executives of the Chinese leading companies of high-tech sectors.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would also inaugurate the Pakistan-China Business Conference under the theme of “vision to support, promote and lead collaboration between the businessmen of the two countries.”

A business delegation of leading Pakistani businesspersons would attend the conference in collaboration with influential Chinese counterparts.

It is also worth to be noted here that Shenzhen is the hub of China’s innovation, technology and research-led companies and enterprises. And Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is visiting China at the invitation of his local counterpart Premier Li Qiang. He will visit the southern and northern provinces of Guangdong and Shaanxi, according to the Chinese foreign ministry. PM Shehbaz would also meet Chinese President Xi Jinping.
