21 commodities have gotten expensive

Weekly inflation has increased by 0.53 percent, and yearly inflation is now at 30.60 percent, signaling a nationwide increase in inflation.

The prices of nine commodities declined and those of 21 vital commodities grew in the most recent week, while rates for 21 goods remained unchanged, according to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) weekly inflation report.

PBS reports that over the previous week, the cost of tomatoes has climbed by 15.97%, the cost of onions by 9.38%, the cost of salt by 2.58%, the cost of potatoes by 2.888%, and the cost of matches by 1.348%.

Weekly inflation has increased by 0.53 percent, and yearly inflation is The price of chickpeas dropped by 3.37 percent, the price of LPG by 1.75 percent, the price of daal masoor by 2.25 percent, the price of daal channa by 1.08 percent, the price of daal mash by 0.16 percent, the price of vegetable ghee by 0.09 percent, and the price of flour by 0.07 percent, according to the report.

According to the statistics, the cost of 21 necessities remained unchanged.

According to PBS, the inflation rate over the past week was 26.72 percent on an annual basis for the group earning up to Rs17,732 per month, 28.46 percent for the group earning between Rs17,733 and Rs22,888, 30.29 percent for the group earning between Rs22,889 and Rs29,517, 31.41 percent for the group earning between Rs29,518 and Rs44,175 per month, and 31.67 percent for the group earning more than Rs44,
