ISLAMABAD, 28 Oct. For flood-affected people in Sindh province, China’s Zonergy solar energy conglomerate has donated and successfully delivered 330 units of 10 watts and 200 units of 60 watts portable solar devices, the firm said on Thursday.
According to the firm, Sindh’s Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has provided solar gadgets. PDMA Director Sindh expressed his heartfelt thanks to Zonergy for supporting the disaster-stricken people of Pakistan during a handing-over ceremony between the two organizations.
According to the company, Zonergy offers its entire assistance to help Pakistan’s government and people usher in a better future.
For the people of Pakistan affected by the floods, Zonergy has already offered a package for a total of Rs. 12 million. The shipment contained Rs 6.4 million worth of portable solar energy gadgets, Rs 2.4 million worth of food supplies for the flood-affected population, and RMB 100,000 as a contribution to the Pakistani Embassy in China.
With the installation of a 300-megawatt solar power facility in Bahawalpur, Punjab, Zonergy has established itself as a prominent participant in Pakistan’s solar energy market. The business also plans to make more investments in Pakistan.
