Alibaba.com, a global leader in B2B e-commerce, has forged a strategic collaboration with international logistics provider CPEX to enable Pakistani businesses to reach customers across 200+ countries. The partnership introduces an advanced online logistics platform designed to optimize export processes for local manufacturers and suppliers, addressing critical challenges in cross-border trade.

The collaboration was formally announced on Friday, introducing a comprehensive online logistics service that provides end-to-end solutions spanning packaging, warehousing, international shipping, and last-mile delivery. By consolidating these services, the initiative aims to lower operational costs and enhance efficiency for exporters. As cross-border e-commerce surges, Pakistani SMEs are increasingly tapping into global demand but often encounter logistical bottlenecks, including unreliable shipping networks and complex customs procedures.

“Pakistani businesses, especially SMEs, require dependable and cost-efficient logistics to compete internationally,” stated a representative from Alibaba.com. The platform leverages its expansive global supply chain network to offer transparent, all-inclusive pricing—covering freight, taxes, and surcharges—while deploying AI-powered tools to optimize shipping routes, streamline customs clearance, and provide 24/7 real-time tracking. Exporters can now access instant pricing, digital booking, and full shipment visibility through the integrated platform.

A notable success story is Clush Industries, a Karachi-based apparel manufacturer specializing in T-shirts, hoodies, and tracksuits. Since joining Alibaba.com in early 2024, the company has generated 100% of its export revenue via the platform, securing clients in the U.S., Canada, Australia, and the U.K. “The seamless logistics and global reach have transformed our business,” shared a Clush Industries spokesperson.

The partnership arrives as Pakistan’s e-commerce exports—particularly in textiles, apparel, and handicrafts—gain momentum. By bridging logistical gaps, the Alibaba-CPEX alliance seeks to elevate the competitiveness of Pakistani products in high-demand regions such as North America, Europe, and the Middle East. This initiative underscores a growing trend of digital trade solutions empowering emerging economies to integrate into global supply chains.
