On June 29, the Pakistan Pavilion commenced operations at the Euro-Asia Exhibition in Urumqi, Xinjiang, signifying a strategic advancement in fortifying economic collaboration and cultural dialogue between Pakistan and China. The inauguration underscored both nations’ commitment to regional partnership and enhanced interpersonal bonds. Attendees demonstrated substantial interest in the pavilion, where premium Pakistani mangoes—celebrated as the “king of fruits”—became the focal point.
Hundreds of exhibition visitors gathered to sample and inquire about these mangoes, which not only captivated taste preferences but also emphasized Pakistan’s agricultural expertise and export opportunities within the Chinese market. Notably, this year marked the debut participation of the National Logistics Corporation (NLC) and the Pakistan Green Initiative, broadening the pavilion’s scope. Representatives from both organizations held discussions with Chinese firms and institutions to identify collaborative prospects in logistics, green technology, and sustainable development—initiatives congruent with the overarching objectives of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Beyond agricultural displays, the pavilion featured a varied assortment of high-end products, encompassing jewelry, leather apparel, luxury bags, traditional handicrafts, and modern garments. These offerings accentuated Pakistan’s cultural legacy while underscoring its evolving proficiency in textile manufacturing and design innovation.
