Parks and Horticulture Authority Rawalpindi completes cleaning and renovation work of Rawal Park
On the special instructions of Director General Parks and Horticulture Authority Rawalpindi Ahmad Hasan Ranjha cleaning and renovation work has been completed in Rawal Park. In view of providing best recreational environment to public, PHA Rawalpindi has been committed in providing best recreational atmosphere to the citizens of Rawalpindi under Green Punjab initiative, said Ahmed Hassan Ranjha.
DG, PHA noted that renovation of parks and recreational areas is aimed at providing a better environment to the tourists from the twin cities to have a pleasant time during their leisure time. Ahmed Hasan Ranjha said that the work of cleaning the grass, plants and trees of sub-parks in different residential areas of Rawalpindi city has also been completed.
Outside the city’s main parks, parking arrangements have also been made and additional staff have been deployed for cleaning so that citizens do not face any problem. Ahmed Hasan Ranjha said that the renovation work of the park and walking tracks in Rawalpindi has been completed.
He said that due to the better plantation arrangements in Rawalpindi, the air quality is better than other big cities of Punjab and according to the vision of the Punjab government, PHA is ensuring green Punjab policy. Director General PHA Ahmed Hasan Ranjha said that PHA has successfully achieved the targets of planting trees under the monsoon plantation drive this year, due to which the air quality of the city is now better.
