Pakistan’s National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and China’s Nankai University (NKU) have executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation across education, research, and innovation sectors. The agreement was formalized during an official visit by NUST Rector Lieutenant General Muhammad Zahid Latif (Retd) to NKU, where he signed the document alongside Nankai University President Professor Chen Yulu.A statement released by NUST confirmed the partnership establishes a structured framework for reciprocal student and faculty exchanges, collaborative research initiatives, joint internship programs, and co-developed innovation platforms. Both institutions emphasized their dedication to nurturing a dynamic cross-border academic partnership, anchored in mutual objectives and continuous knowledge-sharing.
Nankai University, founded in 1919, maintains a prestigious standing within China’s academic community and is widely recognized as the “North Star” of Chinese higher education due to its scholarly distinction.
Concurrently, the University of Sargodha (UoS) concluded a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Nankai University earlier this week, outlining cooperation in research projects, faculty mobility, and digital learning advancements.
