The Government of Pakistan has announced that mango exports for the 2025 season will officially begin on May 25, according to a circular issued by the Ministry of Commerce.
The decision was finalized following consultations with the stakeholders committee, which reviewed the crop outlook and market readiness. The Ministry confirmed that all existing provisions under the Export Policy Order will continue to apply to mango exports this season.
Pakistan exports around 130,000 metric tons of mangoes annually. In 2024, mango exports generated more than $90 million in foreign exchange earnings.
Pakistani mangoes remain in high demand internationally and are exported to a range of countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Iran, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
With the export window set, industry stakeholders are preparing to tap into key markets and maintain Pakistan’s reputation for producing premium-quality mangoes globally.
