CPEC to change destiny of country: Shehbaz

Lahore: Federal Minister Lt Gen (R) Abdul Qadir Baloch called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and matters of mutual interest and other affairs were discussed during the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, new journey of development and prosperity of the country has started.
He said that the projects of China Pakistan Economic Corridor are being implemented speedily. He said that CPEC is a game changer for Pakistan. The Chief Minister said that CPEC projects will change the destiny of the country. He said that the country has been put on the road to progress, prosperity and peace and today’s Pakistan is more safe and economically strong than 2013. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the dream of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah regarding Pakistan will be materialized in the real sense.
Shehbaz Sharif said that PML-N government considers politics as worship and service and under this vision, public welfare projects are being completed. He said that Orange Line Metro Train is a mega project of public welfare and lakhs of people will benefit with its completion. He said that speedy, economical and travelling facilities of international standard will be available to the common man due to completion of Orange Line Metro Train Project. He said that after the popularity and appreciation of metro bus projects by the people, Orange Line Metro Train Project has been started and work is continuing expeditiously.
The Chief Minister said that unjustified criticism against public welfare projects is the opposition of development of Pakistan and prosperity of common man. He said that people had totally rejected to those opposing public welfare projects in the past. He said that people also rejected those creating hurdles in the development and prosperity in local bodies elections and they will also reject such elements who criticize public welfare projects unjustifiably in future as well.
Shehbaz Sharif said that every step of PML-N government is forwarding to the development and prosperity of the people. He said that no effort will be spared for achieving the goal of development and prosperity of the country.
He vowed that the day is not far off when Pakistan will become a haven of peace and will be called country of lights. Federal Minister Abdul Qadir Baloch while paying rich tributes to the public service vision of Shehbaz Sharif said that under his leadership, Punjab government is working in a better manner for providing facilities to the people.
