BEIJING: China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) has responded to reports suggesting potential limits on the export of advanced solar panel manufacturing equipment to the United States, stating it has no knowledge of such developments.
Addressing a Reuters query during a regular press briefing on Thursday, MOFCOM spokesperson He Yadong said he was “not aware of the relevant situation” regarding claims that China had initiated preliminary discussions with manufacturers about restricting exports of high-end solar equipment to the US.
