BEIJING, 3 Nov. According to Pakistan’s ambassador to China, Moin ul Haque, the China International Import Expo (CIIE) is crucial to improving Pakistan’s export to China and the country’s economy.

“Physical participation is not possible due to pandemic prevention and control measures, but we will build up an online national pavilion to exhibit our products,” Moin ul Haque said to China Economic Net (CEN).

He added that despite COVID-19, Pakistan’s exports to China reached a record high of US$3.6 billion last year.

China is our top trading partner, and we are currently taking new steps to increase our export to China, therefore in this regard, the CIIE becomes quite significant for us, he said.

It is also important to note that this year, more than 300 exhibitors, including those from Pakistan, launched an online exhibition.

The China International Import Expo (CIIE), according to Shaikh Muhammad Shariq, Chief Representative of the National Bank of Pakistan in China, offers Pakistani exporters an excellent opportunity to penetrate the second-largest economy in the world.

“It would not only boost Pakistan’s economy and business climate, but it will also help the nation’s trade balance with China. Since the significant topic of the expo is shared prosperity and progress and China is opening up to the outside world, it provides a fantastic chance for the business community to expand their markets in China “, he declared.

Another significant development is the inauguration of an online exhibition this year by more than 300 exhibitors, including those from Pakistan.

According to Shaikh Muhammad Shariq, Chief Representative of the National Bank of Pakistan in China, the China International Import Expo (CIIE) presents a significant chance for Pakistani exporters to enter the second-largest economy in the world.

Since the main theme of the expo is shared prosperity and progress and China is opening up to the outside world, it provides a fantastic opportunity for the business community to expand their markets in China, he claimed. “It would not only boost Pakistan’s economy and business climate, but it will also help the nation’s trade balance with China,” he said.
