چین کے سینٹرل ملٹری کمیشن کے وائس چیئرمین جنرل فین چان لونگ نے اسلام آباد میں وزیراعظم نواز شریف اور آرمی چیف جنرل راحیل شریف سے ملاقات کی اور دہشتگردی کے خلاف جدوجہد کے لئے مشترکہ تصورات کا اظہار کیا ۔ اس ملاقات کے دوران وزیراعظم پاکستان جناب نواز شریف نے پاک چین دوستی کو خارجہ پالیسی کا ستون ک قرار دیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ دونوں ممالک دوستی کی بنیاد مضبوط دوطرفہ اعتماد، تعاون اور عالمی و خطے کے معاملات پر خیالات کے اتفاق پر مبنی ہے۔ چین کے سینٹرل ملٹری کمیشن کے وائس چیئرمین جنرل چان ۔لونگ نے کہا ہے کہ دفاع کے شعبے میں باہمی تعاون خطے میں امن کو برقرار رکھنے اور استحکام کے لیے اہم عنصر ہے۔
