Russia has rolled out a visa-free policy for Chinese tourists, a move aimed at further strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries.
Pavel Kiparisov, chairman of the Russian-Chinese Guild of Commerce, told “China Daily” that the policy reflects a high degree of mutual trust and is expected to inject fresh momentum into the long-term development of Russia–China relations. He noted that the visa-free arrangement could help accelerate the shift from traditional trade toward deeper technological and industrial collaboration.
“In the coming year, we anticipate growth in both bilateral trade volumes and the number of joint ventures,” Kiparisov said, adding that the guild remains committed to serving as a bridge for cooperation and working jointly to build a prosperous shared future.
