ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has praised the enduring and ever-strengthening partnership between Pakistan and China, declaring the bond between the two nations as unparalleled.
Speaking at an event organized by the China Chamber of Commerce, the minister described China as Pakistan’s “second home,” adding that Pakistan is equally cherished in China.
Tarar emphasized that with time, the Pakistan–China friendship has grown “stronger and stronger,” grounded in mutual trust and consistent cooperation. He noted that China has always stood by Pakistan in every moment of difficulty, a gesture that has solidified their reputation as “iron brothers.”
Expressing gratitude to the Chinese leadership, the minister highlighted the positive impact of people-to-people exchanges, which have allowed Chinese culture to flourish within Pakistan.
On climate issues, Tarar underlined that Pakistan contributes less than one percent to global carbon emissions, yet it remains among the top ten most climate-vulnerable countries. He stressed that Pakistan continues to bear the brunt of climate change despite its minimal emissions.
Concluding his address, Attaullah Tarar reiterated that history has repeatedly shown that whenever Pakistan faced challenges, China extended unwavering cooperation, a testament to the exceptional bond between the two nations.
