Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif met Chinese delegation led by H.E Mr Wang Yi, Foreign Minister at PM House today. The Chinese Foreign Minister said that China and Pakistan have a shared future and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is the largest comprehensive project with any foreign country.

‘Pakistan and China are partners in comprehensive cooperation. Implementation of CPEC projects is in full swing. Success of CPEC will make a big difference in the region. Pakistan has played an important role in the ‘Heart of Asia’ conference. We appreciate the leader ship of the Prime Minister in leading the war against extremism and terrorism’, said Mr Wang Yi.

The Prime Minister stated that Pakistan appreciates the support of Chinese leadership.

‘Chinese leadership played a key role in laying the foundations of CPEC. Pakistani nation is grateful to the Chinese leadership for taking the bilateral relationship to the highest level. We thank Chinese leadership for especially supporting Pakistan in energy and infrastructure sector’, said the Prime Minister.
