ISLAMABAD/BEIJING : Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Chen Xiaodong, Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), at the Pakistan Embassy today to review ongoing and future avenues of bilateral development cooperation.

During the meeting, both sides discussed progress in socio-economic development initiatives and praised CIDCA’s significant contributions to Pakistan’s development efforts. Senator Dar expressed appreciation for China’s continued support, highlighting the positive impact of CIDCA-backed projects across multiple sectors.

The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening cooperation in key areas, including education, space technology, livelihoods, information technology, and disaster relief. They also discussed launching flagship initiatives to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Pakistan–China diplomatic relations.

The meeting underscored the enduring strength of the Pakistan–China partnership and the shared resolve to expand practical cooperation for mutual benefit and sustainable development.
