Global Times: Asked to comment on reports that regarding South Korea’s use of “China (Taiwan)” on its electronic entry card system, Taiwan regional authorities claimed that based on reciprocal principle, if South Korea does not provide a positive response to a request by March 31, they will change South Korea’s designation on Taiwan region’s arrival cards from “Republic of Korea” to “Korea (South),” Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, said that adhering to the one-China principle is both the right course of action and an inevitable trend.
No matter what petty tricks the DPP authorities play, they cannot change the objective fact that Taiwan region is a part of China, nor can they shake the basic framework of the international community’s adherence to the one-China principle, the spokesperson said.
