Islamabad : Minister for Planning, Development and Reform, Prof. Ahsan Iqbal said on Wednesday that the multi-billion dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project would start benefiting all areas of the country by the end of this year.
Talking to the columnists here, he said that mutual consensus from both sides was imperative for the projects being completed under the CPEC.
He said that the long terms projects would be completed by the year 2020 while other projects would be completed during the year 2025 to 2030.
The Minister said, under the Vision 2025, the government has made a comprehensive plan to make Pakistan a developed country.
He said, Pakistan enjoyed close friendly relations with China, adding people from all walks of life and political parties are on one page in this regard.
