Sialkot: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) S.M. Munir on Monday said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would help Pakistan to make it a hub of economics activities.

Talking to APP, at Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), he said that regular functioning of CPEC would bring revolutionary changes in every sphere of life and open a new era of prosperity and development in the country.

While addressing the members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and representatives of other trade bodies, S.M. Munir urged the business community that they should put their heart and soul for enhancing the volume of exports to many folds.

He said that trade bodies in this regard should encourage and promote new comers in business for widening the radius of trade and commerce activities across the country.

The TDAP CEO further said: “We are extending full cooperation and facilities to exporters of the country and ensuring their participation at international trade fairs and exhibitions.”

Munir asked the SCCI to constitute a delegation for Iran for assessing the demands of Pakistani products in Iranian market and the TDAP would extend full cooperation to the business community.

In his address of welcome, President SCCI Mansoor Ahmad highlighted different problems confronted by the business community of Sialkot.
