BEIJING: China’s top political advisor, Wang Huning, will pay an official goodwill visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) from July 15 to 17, according to an announcement made Tuesday by a spokesperson for the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.
Wang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), will lead a party and government delegation during the three-day visit.
The visit will take place at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the government of the DPRK, the spokesperson said.
