A total of 269 Pakistani students are currently pursuing China–Pakistan dual-diploma programs in agriculture-related disciplines under the China-Pakistan TVET–Industrial Center of Excellence (CPTICE). Of these, 59 students have relocated to China after completing two years of study in Pakistan, while 10 have already graduated with dual diplomas formally recognized by both countries.
Under the CPTICE framework, several short-term skills training programs have also been conducted in partnership with Chinese enterprises, benefiting nearly 1,000 corporate employees, teachers, and students.
In addition, 14 digital courses have been developed in key areas including modern agricultural technology, animal husbandry, veterinary science, grain storage and quality safety, and the cultivation of Chinese herbal medicine.
Officials noted that enhanced technical and vocational education and training (TVET) cooperation between China and Pakistan is vital for advancing Pakistan’s agricultural sector.
The forum underscored the role of industry–academia–research collaboration in boosting productivity, strengthening food security, and creating skilled workforce opportunities, as both countries seek to further deepen bilateral agricultural cooperation.
