BEIJING: China said on Monday that the development of China-Russia relations is entering “new historical opportunities,” adding that Beijing is prepared to work with Moscow to expand cooperation across multiple sectors and support the creation of a “more just and reasonable global governance system.”
Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun made the remarks during a regular press briefing while responding to a question regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin’s comments on Russia-China strategic coordination following the May 9 Victory Day celebrations.
