TAIYUAN, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) — China successfully launched a new satellite, Ziyuan III 04, into space on Tuesday from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China’s Shanxi Province. The satellite was carried aloft by a Long March-4B rocket and lifted off at 11:17 a.m. Beijing time, according to the launch center.
The mission marked the 617th flight of the Long March rocket series, underscoring the steady progress of China’s space program. A Long March-4B rocket carrying the Ziyuan III 04 satellite blasts off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in Shanxi Province on Dec. 16, 2025.
