BEIJING: China’s affordability and strong safety environment are emerging as key advantages in attracting international students, according to a report released by the Xinhua Institute on Saturday.
The report, titled “Study in China: Contributing to the Building of a Community with a Shared Future for Humanity,” highlights the country’s growing status as a global education hub. It notes that Chinese universities are steadily rising in international rankings, enhancing their academic reputation worldwide.
In addition, the global expansion of Chinese enterprises is opening up increasing career opportunities for international graduates returning to their home countries. The report also emphasizes the significant financial benefits of studying in China, where overall costs are less than one-third of those in Europe or the United States.
Combined with a reputation for stability, security, and a welcoming environment, these factors are boosting the global attractiveness and prestige of the “Study in China” initiative.
