Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar emphasized that dialogue and cooperation are vital for achieving lasting peace, security, and sustainable development.

Speaking at the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC), he reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to diplomacy and multilateralism as essential tools for fostering global harmony.

Dar noted that the participation of delegates from around the world reflected a shared conviction that collaboration, not confrontation, is the true driver of progress. He lauded parliamentary diplomacy as a vital bridge connecting nations and ensuring that global cooperation reflects the aspirations of the people.

Condemning the recent terrorist attacks in Wana and Islamabad, he said such cowardly acts would not shake Pakistan’s determination to eradicate terrorism. He underscored that peace is the foundation of growth and stability, while inclusive development reinforces lasting peace.

The Deputy Prime Minister reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to serve as a bridge between regions, advancing justice, dialogue, and shared prosperity through active, people-centered diplomacy.
