China and Pakistan Advance Academic Synergy Through Renewable Energy Collaboration

**Rephrased Article:**

China’s North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) and Pakistan’s University of Lahore (UOL) formalized multiple academic cooperation agreements, reinforcing bilateral educational and technological engagement. The pacts encompass student-faculty exchange programs and joint research ventures in renewable energy technologies, designed to spur innovation and advance sustainable energy futures.

Awais Raoof, Chairman of UOL’s Board of Governors, headed the Pakistani delegation and was welcomed by Liu Wei, Vice President of NCEPU. Liu underscored the historical bonds between China and Pakistan, emphasizing opportunities for intensified collaboration in higher education and renewable energy.

Raoof affirmed that the agreements would accelerate academic advancement and cultivate innovation in pivotal sectors. “These collaborations will significantly contribute to Pakistan’s dynamic energy landscape,” he stated optimistically. Khalid Taimur Akram, a delegate member, contextualized the partnership within the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), noting, “This initiative aligns with CPEC’s strategic objectives.” He further lauded NCEPU’s “global leadership in energy research.”

Post-signing, the delegation visited NCEPU’s State Key Laboratory of Alternate Electrical Power System with Renewable Energy Sources, receiving detailed briefings on ongoing sustainable energy projects. The partnership signifies a milestone in China-Pakistan educational and technological integration, with both institutions pledging commitment to shared energy and academic development goals.
