Pakistan presented its digital justice reforms at the 34th Session of the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ) in Vienna. The delegation was led by Raja Naeem Akbar (H.I), Federal Secretary, Ministry of Law and Justice, and included Mr. Ehsan Sadiq, National Focal Person on the UNTOC Review Mechanism, and Mr. Khalid Mahmood Chauhan, National Coordinator of NACTA, among other senior officials.

On the sidelines of the session, Pakistan organized two side events focusing on judicial reform and the prevention of violent extremism (PVE). Speaking at the high-level forum, Secretary Akbar emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening the rule of law, modernizing judicial infrastructure, and enhancing the efficiency of public sector litigation.

He introduced the Case Assignment and Management System (CAMS), describing it as a transformative, web-based litigation management platform designed to streamline the Federal Government’s handling of legal cases. “CAMS is not just another IT tool; it is a transformative, web-based litigation management platform designed to streamline the Federal Government’s handling of legal cases,” stated Secretary Akbar during his presentation.“From case registration to final resolution, CAMS enables transparency, live progress tracking, and smooth coordination across departments,” Secretary Akbar said.
