When asked whether Chinese and Japanese foreign ministers had any contact or exchanges while in Manila, the Philippines, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said on Thursday at a press conference that “based on what I know, Foreign Minister Wang Yi had no arrangements to meet with the Japanese side during his stay in Manila.”
