SHANGHAI: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a bilateral meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Shanghai on Friday, where both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the high-quality development of CPEC 2.0 and exchanged views on the latest regional and global developments.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the full spectrum of Pakistan-China relations and expressed satisfaction over the continued strength and steady growth of the longstanding strategic partnership. They reiterated their resolve to deepen the Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership through enhanced collaboration in trade, investment, science and technology, the digital economy, and artificial intelligence.
Dar and Wang also underscored the importance of accelerating the implementation of CPEC 2.0, with a focus on high-quality development, while discussing key regional and international developments of mutual interest.
