JINAN: Chinese Vice President Han Zheng on Tuesday reiterated China’s commitment to supporting multinational corporations investing and operating in the country, while encouraging deeper cooperation and sustainable growth.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the seventh Qingdao Multinationals Summit in Qingdao, east China’s Shandong Province, Han said China remains committed to creating favorable conditions for multinational enterprises to achieve robust and healthy development.
He noted that China’s ongoing push for high-quality development and greater high-standard opening up has created significant opportunities for multinational companies seeking growth and expansion.
Han expressed hope that multinational corporations would continue to offer high-quality products and services, strengthen industrial cooperation within China, and collaborate in building a new innovation-driven growth ecosystem that is more resilient, dynamic, and competitive.
The vice president also called for joint efforts to protect the stability and smooth functioning of global industrial and supply chains.
The summit brought together more than 700 participants, including representatives from government agencies, international organizations, multinational companies, and business associations.
