Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari is currently on a week-long visit to China from April 25 to May 1, which includes stops in Hunan Province and Hainan Province, according to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian.
Speaking at a regular press briefing on Monday, Lin said that this year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan, noting that bilateral ties continue to show strong and steady growth at a high level of development.
He added that China is prepared to further strengthen friendly exchanges and cooperation with Pakistan across various sectors and regions, and to jointly advance the development of a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future.
