The International Monetary Fund announced on Thursday that Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva will travel to China next week for a series of high-level engagements in Shanghai and Beijing.
She will attend the inauguration of the IMF Shanghai Center on Monday before heading to Beijing, where she is scheduled to join the annual China 1+10 Dialogue on Tuesday and take part in the press conference for the IMF’s 2025 Article IV Consultation with China, spokesperson Julie Kozack said.During her stay in Beijing, Georgieva will also hold meetings with senior Chinese officials, Kozack added.
