## China-Pakistan Academic Alliance Launches New Online HSK Chinese Language Program
China’s Hanhua Bowen (Beijing) Education Technology Co., Ltd. and Pakistan’s University of Sargodha have jointly inaugurated a new series of online HSK Chinese language courses. The virtual opening ceremony gathered academic leaders and stakeholders, demonstrating vibrant cross-border collaboration.
Zhang Haibo, Chief Representative of the International Chinese Language Teachers Association, underscored the escalating demand for bilingual professionals as investments under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) grow. “Chinese language proficiency combined with vocational skills is integral to future development,” Zhang stated.
Sun Liping, Operation Director of Hanhua Bowen, characterized the initiative as a strategic educational bridge cultivating people-to-people bonds. She outlined plans to broaden the curriculum into engineering, agriculture, and digital economy disciplines, aiming to construct a robust international talent pipeline. Dr. Ahmad Riza Bilal, representing the University of Sargodha, stressed the importance of integrating Pakistani cultural elements into the curriculum. “This ensures the program’s relevance and applicability for our local students,” Dr. Bilal emphasized.
Looking forward, the two institutions announced intentions to establish a China-Pakistan Digital Education Resource Sharing Platform. This platform will feature artificial intelligence-assisted teaching tools, designed to broaden access to high-quality educational resources.
