Pakistan and China Strengthen Commitment to Regional Stability

Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their commitment to regional peace and stability, emphasizing their united stance against terrorism. This was articulated by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry during an exclusive interview with China Media Group.

Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry highlighted the mutual understanding between the two nations on regional and international issues, expressing satisfaction with their aligned perspectives. He emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to foster peace and stability in the region.

Addressing global challenges, he noted that all nations today face significant issues, including climate change and population growth. He underscored the need for major countries to focus on the progress of humanity.

Criticizing India’s hegemonic behavior, Lieutenant General Chaudhry questioned the justification of one country attacking another based on baseless accusations and false narratives. He stressed that terrorism aims to halt progress and highlighted China’s rapid development despite its large population as an example. He affirmed that the people of Pakistan aspire to move toward growth and stability.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s resilience, he stated that “The Pakistani nation has never bowed down in the past nor will do in future. Martyrdom is an honor for us, even greater than life itself whether one wears Blue, White or Khaki”
