Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi  has said that the party does not want to make China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) a controversial project however the government is not addressing its reservations.

He expressed these views while talking to the media after PTI delegation met Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA) Khursheed Shah in his chamber.

Qureshi said that the government has burdened the people with Rs 40 billion to Rs 50 billion more taxes without approval from the NA. He said that Nawaz Sharif is implementing Kisan package only in Punjab.

PTI and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) would bring a joint resolution against Council of Common Interests (CCI) and National Finance Commission (NFC), he added. However, he said it is not necessary that both the parties have same stance over different issues.
