Punjab Seed Corporation is playing a critical role in supplying farmers with high-quality, reasonably priced seeds. Farmers should receive better services; it is necessary. Syed Hussain Jahania Gardezi, Punjab’s Minister for Agriculture, made this statement while presiding over the 122nd meeting of the directors of the Punjab Seed Corporation in Lahore. PSC Shan-Al-Haq, the meeting’s managing director, provided an overview of the schedule.

The Punjab Agriculture Minister further said that farmers had confidence in the Punjab Seed Corporation. It is important to offer farmers high-quality seeds, which should be planted under the watchful eye of the person who discovered the seed variety to maximize the seed’s potential output.

In addition, the Punjab Seed Corporation should communicate with progressive farmers and academia before planting seed trials, and they should develop a short- and long-term strategy for the distribution of seeds to farmers throughout the Rabi and Kharif seasons.

On this occasion, Punjab’s Agriculture Secretary, Ahmad Aziz Tarar, instructed MD Punjab Seed Corporation to create a business plan for a variety of crops grown for trials on farms so that KPIs for the organization could be established in light of this.

In discussions with the board members, Agriculture Minister Punjab also gave his approval for several administrative problems with Punjab Seed Corporation at the time.
