Indus Highway bus-truck incident results in 11 fatalities and 13 injuries

On Thursday, a passenger bus collided with a vehicle on the Indus Highway near Pakistan’s Sindh region, resulting in at least 11 fatalities and 13 injuries.

According to Pakistani authorities, the incident happened when the bus traveled from Karachi to Punjab province.

The fatalities included the bus and truck drivers, two ladies, and a similar number of kids.

A Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro, received the deceased and injured.

On the National Highway N-5 near Rohri, a passenger bus had crashed into a ditch later that day, causing eight fatalities and 32 injuries.
