Flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China at Pakistan’s Gwadar Port

On October 1, a ceremony to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the People’s Republic of China’s creation was conducted in Gwadar Port in Pakistan’s Balochistan region. The celebration was attended by personnel from China, Pakistan, local dignitaries, and people from all walks of life.

The students of Faqeer Colony Primary School stood in front with flowers in their hands. The high-spirited flag-raising team marched neatly and cheerfully to escort the national flag to the flag platform, accompanied by the majestic national anthem of the People’s Republic of China. The bright five-star red flag rose steadily.

The five-star red flag has now been flown above Gwadar Port 10 times. The Gwadar Port has revitalized the economy, improved people’s quality of life, and encouraged building and growth during the previous 10 years.

China helped fund and build a number of projects that have been finished and put into use, including the East Bay Expressway, the Gwadar Vocational and Technical Institute, and the Gwadar Faqeer Colony Public School.

Major initiatives for generating income, including a desalination plant, are actively being built. Gwadar Port, the “jewel in the crown,” will undoubtedly shine more and more brightly as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor progresses steadily toward a high-quality goal.
