According to Pakistani media reports on October 1, railway transportation between Pakistan and Iran has fully resumed after being interrupted for nearly two months.
A Pakistani official said more than 100 roads and a damaged bridge had been repaired due to flooding.
Previously, due to floods in Pakistan, the railway between the two countries was damaged by floods and torrential rain, and the delivery of some materials was blocked.
Pakistan is located in the South Asian subcontinent, with heavy rainfall in the monsoon rainy season every year and frequent floods. Since mid-June, heavy rainfall and glacial meltwater have caused floods in many parts of the country, affecting nearly 33 million people, and economic losses are expected to reach 30 billion US dollars.
